Helloooooo fellow queens! We haven't celebrated ng bongga my blog's fab milestone ano? Alam mo na, maraming ganap sa palasyo. Chos. So eto nga, I reached 1,000 likes last February 7. For a brown-belter (sana pink meron no?) blogger like me, that's big deal! Of course, it won't happen if not for my generous sponsors and partners. Saka ko na sila iisa-isahin on my 1st blogoversary on March 27th. ☺
And here's a simple but girly token of appreciation for my loyal subjects. Tarush. One lucky reader could win this mala-Cleopatra na necklace and mala-Pocahontas na feather earrings.

Mulan, for me, embodies the character of a true queen. She is not just a Disney princess. She is a Diney Queen. :) She is very strong, courageous and yet, so gentle and feminine. She got the love she wants from her man not through fancy clothes and jewelries but by showing him who she really is - a woman of strength, will-power, class and beauty! ^_^

Fantine of Les Miserables, because a queen should always be like a mother, will do everything and anything for her child, Fantine may not have the glory and a fame a true Queen has but she has one thing and most important thing that a true Queen MUST have .... Selflessness.

You can't please everybody. “The important thing is not what they think of me, but what I think of them.”
Queen Victoria. Baka eto ang motto ni Regina George.

Jane Eyre for me. Though she suffers greatly, she always relies on herself to get back on her feet. That's the embodiment of a true queen. (me ganung tono?!, chos!) :)

Cinderella in order to truly lead you must served. Leadership is not making many followers but making leaders out of your constituents. Sacrifice for the good of all and be humble enough to serve. Cinderella had a queen-like attitude.

DeleteMy most favorite fictional woman character who embodies Queen-like attitude is Queen Elinor of the animation movie Brave(2012) because she has a daughter named Merida who is so in love archery and Quee Elinor doesn't like her daughter to be a boy-like so she teaches Merida to be a proper princess but Merida doesn't like it so she asked a witch to change her mother. Since Merida only told the witch to change her mother, not telling specifically how, her mother turns to a huge bear. Even though Merida committed a mistake, Queen Merida still loves her daughter and protected her from a real huge scary bear even her life is at its stake! <3
DeleteHmmm mine is lara croft hahahaha bad ass yet still beautiful.. She has the character of a hero and ang galing nya matalino din and rich....
